Purpose of the Assignment:
One of the most important areas of work under this grant will focus on strengthening the Food Fortification Alliance of Sudan (FFA). To lead this work, WFP is seeking a highly experienced qualified individual to undertake the role of the National Coordinator of the FFA. The incumbent will be based in the Secretariat of the FFA, located within the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) in Khartoum, Sudan and work closely with the Ministry of Agriculture's the Ministry of Industry (FMOI), and the private sector and development partners. The incumbent will support the creation of sound policies and establish food fortification systems, strengthen the secretariat function and improve the skills and capacities to monitor progress from a multi-functional perspective.
